French Midcentury Dining Chairs – Set of 6
-
Description
Dimensions: 31 ¾” H x 19 ¼” W x 17” D
A funky set of six (6) French dining chairs from circa 1970, easily fitting a Midcentury Modern/Scandinavian taste for gentle curvature that is most importantly both comfortable and inviting. Likely designed by the firm of Baumann, the armless chair frames of beech wood are thick and flat in profile, suspending the backrest at the top and a wide, slightly concave seat in between. What appears to be the original upholstery is a checked velvet of alternating beige and rosy pink that is in worn, but acceptable condition for the age and use. Please view the detailed images to see more. Sold as a set of six.
Seat height: 18” -
