    A fine French 19th Century Louis XVI style commode made of beautiful mahogany. Hand-crafted in France circa 1840, its original shaped marble top with beautiful colors and patterns throughout sits over three wide drawers decorated with lustrous brass shield escutcheons and angular brass drop pulls. This dignified case piece showcases a gorgeous mahogany wood grain. Iconic of the Louis XVI style this piece features two well turned fluted columns flanking the long drawers, each ending in turned arrow feet. The patina of the wood is truly beautiful, be sure to look at all the images to see the details and current condition of this handsome antique commode. No key is present.
