French 19th Century Mahogany Rafraichissoir

$ 2,400
  • Description
    A French mahogany rafraîchissoir table from the late 19th century. Functioning like a dry bar, this occasional table is adapted to keeping beverages cold by placing them in a removable zinc trough set flush within the marble surface. Our example uses a rectangular ice bucket to the left side, and a white marble surface to the right for preparing one’s drink. The small drawer in the apron is perfect for storing bar tools and cocktail napkins. Gorgeous turned legs support two lower shelves for additional storage and display surface. Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, this table is ready for your next event. Please view the detailed images.
