Description
The illustrious Italian designer Gianfranco Frattini designed an entire furniture series for the Italian label Bernini in the early 1960s. All these designs share the same style and especially the very characteristic base that we can recognize at the same time as a signature of the maestro.DesignThis is the beautiful coffee table from that specific series, where the base plays a central role. Pure elegance is the result of the curved wooden slats that determine the atmosphere of this object at an angle of ninety degrees. The only thing that is round are the feet and add extra shadow so that the table appears to float. This object is made entirely of rosewood and the dramatic drawing with strong black lines is truly a feast for the eyes. Over the years, the wood has also acquired a beautiful patina, making it shine phenomenally. The table bears the Bernini attribution sticker on the bottom. ConditionThe item is in very good condition. A small bump can be seen on the top at a certain angle, but it does not detract from the appearance at all.
