Description
Poul Nørreklit designed this low table for Georg Petersens in the 1960s. Given its uniquely low height (27" overall, 24.25" to the apron), it was designed for dining use with suitably low chairs or as a work table / desk. Bookmatched rosewood top boasts vibrant color and grain nicely contrasted by the chromed-steel bases. The full restoration of this piece included the professional re-chroming of the bases. The Danish control tag is present along with the Georg Petersens Møbelfabrik label.
When not in use, the 23.5" leaf conveniently stores under the tabletop.
Measures: Total length with the leaf: 86.5"
Length without the leaf: 63".
There is a line on the surface resembling a crease, which resulted from the rosewood veneer application (see images). Otherwise, the piece is in very nice, restored condition, with only minor surface wear. -
