Description
A highly desirable form by this designer, the round wooden base supports ceramic tiles with leaf patterns, signed signed R Capron. Each tile has the impression of a plant native to France surrounding Vallauris where Capron founded Atelier Capron.
Roger Capron (French, 1922-2006) was a ceramicist best known for his tile-topped coffee tables, ofter with natural-world motifs such as this one. -
