Oscar Heyman Brothers remained preeminent platinum and diamond specialists in the mid-century, creating designs featuring both straight and tapered diamond baguettes, sourced in part from new diamond mines in Russia. Among the popular designs these small but clean, high color baguettes inspired were the firm's "ballerina" rings, which centered a larger diamond or colored gem within an undulating frame of tapered diamond bageuttes. -
