Dating from the 1880s, this antique Victorian pendant locket with seed pearls and enamel is set in bloomed 18K gold. Suspended from a tapering bail, the hinged oval locket is surmounted with a vertical infinity motif formed of graduating split seed pearls outlined in blue champlevé enamel, and opens to a double-compartmented interior. Capturing the romance and pure sentiments of the Victorian period with its symbol of eternity, this unusual locket is perfect for holding images of loved ones.
