English circa 1720 George I period chest of five drawers having all-over original red japanned finish age mellowed to burgundy with chinoiserie relief figural and landscape designs on drawer fronts and top and gilt-painted foliate panels on sides; the drawers with original brass drop pulls and oval escutcheons.
