Alpi by Silvio Mondino Studio, Sculptural Table Lamp, Darkened Brass Blown Glass

Alpi is a Sculptural Italian Table Light designed by Silvio Mondino Studio, conceived as an abstract composition of form, proportion, and light. A slender Brass structure embraces a large Hand-Blown Glass globe, while the concealed light source creates a soft luminous halo around the glass. The result is an atmospheric object whose presence is as much about form as it is about illumination.

Part of the Chemistry Series, Alpi grew from an exploration of the forms and proportions found in traditional hand-blown glassmaking in Vicenza, Italy. The precise geometry of the Machined Brass contrasts with the organic character of the glass, creating a composition that feels at once architectural and weightless.

As the light comes to life, the transparent globe becomes almost immaterial, surrounded by a delicate halo that extends into the space. The effect is intimate yet striking, transforming Alpi from a source of illumination into a luminous sculptural object.

Designed to be placed on a console, side table, bedside table, or directly on the floor,
Alpi brings a distinctive presence to different areas of the home.
Its clean lines and expressive proportions allow it to sit naturally within Contemporary, Mid-Century Modern, and eclectic interiors, where it can function as both a source of ambient light and a sculptural accent.

Alpi brings together Machined Brass and Hand-Blown Glass, combining contemporary Italian design with Traditional Craftsmanship. The individuality of the hand-blown glass gives each piece subtle variations, making every Alpi slightly different.

The Brass finishes are entirely handmade through an artisanal process, creating subtle variations in color, tone, and surface. The result is a richly nuanced surface, giving each piece exceptional depth and its own character.

Finished and assembled by hand in the Silvio Mondino Studio in Italy, Alpi is made to order, with customizations available.
