French 19th Century Envelope Game Table
-
Description
This funky game table is a great way to add tons of character to any room without sacrificing too much space. Twisting the folded top clockwise will raise one of the envelope triangles with a simple mechanism on the interior of the fold. Once raised it is easy to open the rest of the table top to reveal a green felt playing surface and four counter wells. The felt is in good antique condition with minor wear. The apron houses a single drawer to easily store and access your cards, chips, or dominos. Rectangular, tapered legs support the whole. A very thin band of light wood inlay details the whole; accentuating the folds on top, drawer front and legs. Finished on all sides; meant to seat four chairs. Make sure to view the detailed images for a closer look at the great patina and condition.
