French Early 19th Century Louis XVI Style Commode

Description
An early 19th Century Louis XVI style commode hand-crafted in France circa 1800. This stylish case piece is made of mahogany and topped with its original, removable, shaped marble top that has incredibly gorgeous charcoal and black patterns throughout. A bank of three drawers with trimmed paneling are all fitted with brass diamond escutcheon plates and attractive angular brass drop pulls. Rounded fluted corners flank the drawers. The whole is raised on front fluted and turned feet, a classic element of Louis XVI style. The sides of this case piece are handsomely paneled and trimmed adding to its all over appeal.
