Description
This striking Art Deco table lamp was produced in Austria in the late 1930s. The design is marked by the elegant shape of the base which has executed in lacquered maple and Birdseye maple wood. The lamp consists of a three tiered circular base, with a sphere shape on top. This is completed by an elongated tapered shape which recurs in the cone shade. The shade is made of a matt, ivory fabric with a refined texture. The unusual wood grain and distinct shape of the lamp make this a refined and rare example of the Austrian Art Deco era. The lamp has been completely restored and refinished. It's newly rewired with a new fitting and 220V plug. The custom shade has been completely renewed as well.
