Description
Pair of Armchairs in Rosewood & Cream Mohair, Jorge Jabour Mauad, 1960s - Lot 442
This elegant set of armchairs was designed by Jorge Jabour Mauad and carefully crafted by Cantù Móveis e Interiores Ltda. in the 1960s. Each chair features a cubic frame made entirely of Brazilian Rosewood, paired with soft, creamy mohair upholstery. The arms, broader than the structure, add a sophisticated detail. The rosewood has been expertly refinished, highlighting its vivid veins and preserving its vintage marks, yet the armchairs are in excellent condition. The fabric upholstery has been recently replaced. Both functional and visually appealing, this set would complement any modern, mid-century, or contemporary space, offering a perfect mix of comfort and style. -
