-
Description
Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte rare elegant table lamp or sconce shaped like a clam with rose colored curved beveled acid-etched crystal top and colorless curved beveled acid-etched crystal bottom connected with a brass hinge and base. The top and bottom glass pieces are held together by a sculptural brass hinge attached to the base which opens and closes to reveal the pearl-shaped lightbulb inside. This exquisite design exemplifies the impeccably crafted lighting of Fontana Arte under the artistic direction of Max Ingrand. It's a sculptural jewel of a design emitting a soft warm glow and will beautifully adorn any interior whether classic or contemporary.
Recently rewired to U.S. standards as a table lamp with brown silk cord and toggle switch, but could easily be converted to a wall light as well. -
