1950s Jo Hammerborg copper and black lacquered metal table lamp Fog & Mørup. A wonderfully patinated table lamp executed in copper and black lacquered metal. This rare and elegant Danish modern design with its sculptural form and whimsical touches are characteristic of the finest work of Bent Karlby.

Jo Hammerborg was one of the most innovative Danish modern lighting designers of the midcentury era. His refined designs for Fog & Morup have been long sought after by collectors in the know.

Modified for US electrical. Two new e26 medium base sockets each accommodate a 60 watt equivalent Edison bulb (lower with incandescent). Patina, bends, losses, dents, and scuffs as largely shown in the images and noted only for accuracy.

Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee.
