Description
This striking pair of table lamps was produced by Markslöjd in Kinna, Sweden in the 1960s.
The design is marked by the sculptural, organic shaped frame resting on a circular base. The base is made of solid stained beech wood. Brass fitting, and Markslöjd label on the bottom of the base. The original coolie shaped shade has been renewed in an ivory white linen textured fabric. The shade can be adjusted into different positions. An elegant example of Swedish Modern lighting with a striking appearance from all angles.
The pair is in very good condition, with renewed shades. Currently with a 220V European plug and standard E26/E27 bulb fitting. -
