A striking organic mid-century modern floor lamp in black painted metal, brass, and renewed wooden slatted shades. The sculptural body is botanical in form, with plant-like branches and leaves accentuating its graceful rhythm. The shades, in wooden slats, evoke the shape of delicate flowerings, completing the lamp’s naturalistic silhouette.
This rare and elegant piece is of likely Finnish origin and was produced by one of the high-quality manufacturers of the mid-century era. Although not documented, its craftsmanship and design language suggest connections to makers such as Valinte, Soini, or Itsu. Regardless of authorship, it stands as one of the most refined and distinctive floor lamps we have encountered.
The lamp is fully restored with repainted details according to the original colour and the shades were remade on the original frames. -
