Pair of 1950s Italian Wall Sconces in Brass, Green Metal and Opaline Glass

Pair of Italian wall sconces from the 1950s, crafted in brass with green lacquered metal elements and opaline glass shades. The design is clean and architectural, built around a strong vertical brass stem anchored to a circular wall plate, with a gently curved arm that carries the diffuser in a poised, slightly projecting position.

Each sconce features a flared opaline glass shade with a tapered silhouette, held in place by a green lacquered metal band that wraps around the glass and connects back to the structure. The contrast between the warm brass, the graphic green lacquer, and the soft white opaline creates a refined mid-century palette, while the slender rods and minimal geometry keep the overall profile light and elegant.

Condition
Very good vintage condition overall. The opaline glass shows very small, barely noticeable imperfections consistent with age. The green lacquered metal displays minor wear, including small paint losses and light oxidation/rust traces in a few areas. Brass shows a warm patina with gentle surface marks expected from careful vintage use. Cleaned and ready to install.
