Pair of 1950s Italian Wall Sconces in Brass, Green Steel and Opaline Glass

Pair of Italian wall sconces from the 1950s, combining green lacquered steel arms, brass details and softly diffusing opaline glass shades in a refined mid-century composition.
Each sconce features a slender vertical rod rising from a circular brass backplate (12 cm / approx. 4.7 in in diameter), with a curved green arm that supports the conical glass shade and a thin brass stem that visually balances the structure, giving the design an elegant, slightly architectural look. The opaline glass provides a warm, even light that works well both as ambient and accent lighting.

Each sconce is fitted with a standard E14 socket, suitable for use in Europe as well as in the United States and Canada with the appropriate E14 bulbs.
The brass and lacquered metal show a natural, authentic patina and minor wear consistent with age and use; on the green lacquered steel there are visible traces of oxidation and a few small paint losses. The glass shades are in very good vintage condition.
