A lovely gilt mantel mirror from 19th century France, the tall proportions of the Louis Philippe style arch-top frame are emphasized by slender foliate and beaded molding around the original mirror plate. Foxing of the glass appears in a translucent haze–drawing the viewer in for a closer look. This antique mirror is the perfect scale to make a big impact in any room.
