Description
The Sergio Rodrigues Tonico lounge chair, produced by OCA/Meia-Pataca in 1962, features a frame constructed of solid Pau Ferro wood, a Brazilian hardwood known for its beautiful reddish-brown color, fine texture, and durability. The original cushions, filled with cotton and supported by leather belts, support the sculptural headrest cushion. The frame have been fully restored and stabilized, with new rubber straps installed underneath the seats to ensure long-lasting quality. The cushions are ready for reupholstery in your choice of materials.
Pau Ferro is a hardwood native to Brazil, known for its beautiful reddish-brown color, fine texture, and durability. It is often used in high-end furniture making due to its unique appearance and strength.
