French Iron & Rojo Alicante Marble Dining Table
-
Description
Dimensions: 29 ½” H x 82 ½” W x 35 ¼” D
An exquisite 19th Century French hand-forged iron and red marble dining table that is a masterpiece of craft and creativity. The tabletop is a slab of natural Rojo Alicante marble with fine veining of white to gray, that has been carefully shaped to a beveled edge and smooth corners. Generous proportions align thoughtfully with the iron base, to enjoy an inviting atmosphere indoors or on the patio for al fresco entertaining. Worn white paint on the table base softens the unyielding qualities of iron, creating a sense of lightness with exaggerated scrolls forming the two support legs and fleur de lis outline in the stretcher, reiterating French sophistication in the design.
