The fun twist on the Twelve Days of Christmas Show is that each dealer in the show will post one fresh piece each day, beginning on December 5th and running through December 16th.

Earthenware Inkwell in the Form of a Lion  

Lion Inkwell, earthenware, in the form of a standing lion, head turned to the left, tongue extended, ring through its nose with links of earthenware chain attached, contains a small circular, removable well and another removable well, with sand strainer, left flank inscribed 'Duingen 1840', Length 10".

Provenance: The private collection of Paul and Louise Bernheimer;

Gothic Revival Bookcase

A Gothic revival oak cabinet of exceptional quality. The upper section consists of recessed central shelving flanked by a pair of cupboard doors. The lower part consists of a projecting central bank of doors flanked by cupboards and drawers on the ends. All the drawers and doors are applied with Gothic inspired moldings. The cornice is carved with four unique “Green Men” above each pilaster and each rosette is also unique in execution. English, circa 1860. 113" wide, 27" deep, 96.5" high. $68,000

A superb example of late 17th-century Dutch Delftware, this generously sized circular dish embodies the coveted blue and white Chinoiserie style inspired by Chinese Kangxi porcelain, exemplifies the skill of Delft potters in interpreting iconic Chinese motifs for European taste — reflecting both the era’s global trade and the artistic heights of Dutch ceramic tradition. At its center, a boldly painted dragon emerges from dense flowering branches, the energetic design artfully framed by a rim with alternating floral reserves and trellis panels, accented with iron-red. $2,000
