Portrait of a young woman in a white blouse in the style of William Merritt Chase. ( American Impressionism). This work was most likely painted from life and is wonderfully painted alla prima. The work is not signed. Unframed. Provenance: Barridoff Galleries. The digitized version we see on the web has a little more contrast. When viewing in person, the tones are softer.
