Description
This rare table lamp was designed by Jette Hellerøe and produced by Axella Keramik in Denmark in the 1970s. The base is impressed with the designer’s name, the Axella logo, and the model number 663.
The design is marked by the ceramic base with a striking triple spherical shape. The turned, almost column-like silhouette with rounded tiers gives it a strong vertical presence. The base has been finished in a sandy beige/ochre glaze with a speckled and mottled texture. The horizontal brown banding emphasizes the contours.
The drum-shaped shade is a new custom design executed in ivory linen Loro Piana fabric.
The lamp is in very good condition with a renewed shade and renewed European 220V wiring and a regular E26/E27 bulb fitting.
The shade is included in the price, should you not need the shade, please contact us for adjusted item and shipping pricing.
