Description
This rare table/desk lamp was produced by Lyfa in Denmark in the late 1950s. The striking design is marked by the red lacquered metal shade and the socket holder part in the same shade of red. The central stem/rod is in a white lacquered steel. Circular base in patinated brass with black light switch. Dome shaped brass finial is mounted on top of the red shade. The white perspex/acrylic light diffuser allows for a pleasant and soft light distribution.
The lamp is in overall good original condition. The brass parts with a beautifully developed natural patina. Minor signs of wear consistent with age and previous use. -
