Description
This striking lamp was designed by Olle Alberius and produced by Rörstrand in Sweden in the 1960s. The base is marked on the bottom with Rörstrand’s symbol (R), "OA" for Olle Alberius, Sweden, and the model number 8228. The lamp is part of the iconic bamboo inspired series designed by Alberius.
The elegant base is finished with a glaze in earthy tones, showcasing beautiful hues of brown, copper, olive green and black. Given the height, the lamp could work well as a tall table lamp, placed on a sideboard or low table, or it could also function as a floor lamp.
The cylinder shade has been renewed in a linen-textured ivory fabric. Overall in very good, fully original condition with minimal wear. Rewired with European wiring and a 220V plug. Renewed shade.

Total Height including shade: 101 cm / 39.76 inches
Height of the base only (excluding shade): 58 cm / 22.83 inches
