A pair of carved walnut mediaeval knights, each wearing full armour with a visored helmet metal, breastplate and holding a lance, standing on a later pyramidal base, one with curled feathers in his helmet and the other with twin ribbons, both with clearly defined faces and long moustaches. Figures Continental, circa 1880 (bases later).
