This wall-mounted piece of furniture highlights the natural beauty of wood, featuring distinctive uprights and components crafted entirely from interlocking wooden elements. Produced in Italy during the mid-1950s, the bookcase is both striking and highly decorative.

The ingenuity of its design lies in the practical attachment of all accessory components to the main structure. Four uprights, resembling small ladders, are fixed to the wall, supporting a series of well-designed shelves. These provide ample space for a library or a curated collection of objects. Equipped with edges, each shelf ensures that books, LPs, or art catalogues can be neatly arranged and well-organized. The addition of storage compartments with doors and drawers expands its functionality, making the bookcase an ideal choice for a living room or study.

A slim module with drawers, adjustable in height, can serve as a writing desk, or as a surface for a television or a record player. All components are interchangeable, allowing the bookcase to be configured to suit various furnishing needs.

The bookcase has been fully restored and refinished in our restoration atelier and is in excellent overall condition, with only minor signs of age to note.
