Description
This pair of Italian wall sconces from the 1950s features a refined, modern design built around elongated opaline glass cone shades. Each shade is held in a slender open brass cradle that follows the profile of the glass and continues downwards as a thin rod with a black lacquered tip, giving the silhouette a light, vertical accent. The arms rise from circular brass backplates with a diameter of 10 cm (approximately 3.94 in), creating a simple geometric contrast between the round plate and the tapered glass.
The opaline glass diffuses the light with a soft, even glow, ideal for ambient or accent lighting in hallways, bedrooms or living spaces. The brass structure shows a natural patina consistent with age, adding warmth and character without compromising the clean, minimal lines of the design. Each sconce is fitted with a standard E14 socket, suitable for use in Europe, the United States and Canada -
